Racedriver GRID problem

Ok, this has only started happening since the ATi CCC drivers 9.3, I installed them, and everything was running fine, I was getting an increase of about 5 - 10 fps in every game, including GRID, but then, after about 2 races, GRID becomes unplayable, drops from about 70fps, to around 8-12, but only seems to get that low when I'm going round corners, it's around 30 when going in a straight line.

The replays are running at the highest fps I am able to reach, but racing and menu screen is hideously laggy, is this a bad driver install? Or is this a known problem with ATi 9.3 drivers?

I know a roll back would be the answer, but I'm quite enjoying the extra 5-10fps in other games, it only seems to be GRID that has the problems at the moment :/
