So the closed beta lasted all of a week? I hardly had a chance to even try it, as it just crashed right away to begin with. Seems to be rushing through, possibly to beat pcars and not have to compete with them right away maybe?

It would have been good to try Bathurst before having to pay for it 
Any ideas on how to get the G27 running with this. The profiler doesn't have any effect and I'm stuck with 900 degrees and the turning circle of the Titanic in game. For tiptops I typically use 540 degrees in GTR2 etc with no issue.

Yeah, I only booted the closed beta up twice, and even then probably managed to play for less than an hour per go. I liked the game, but I don't think I could seriously get into it if most of the content is going to put me out of pocket. There's many more racing games out there with lots of free content or just more base content, or just play iRacing if you don't mind paying for content.

Set the steering lock in game to something in the 24-30 ballpark, depending upon how sensitive you want the steering to be.

I played it with my uncle yesterday, understandably it's in beta right now so much more to come. I too hope they don't charge heftily for content but right now this is what I've been looking for.
See I love racing sims, but now I don't have the time to be dedicated like for example what iRacing required. I have Live for Speed which is brilliant but doesn't have that many servers. rFactor has so many mods there isn't an easy way to join online, and whilst diverse it's also flawed from an online gaming point of view.
This game seems like I can pick and play it when I want, and have fun even just doing leaderboard time trials. So yea, I'm looking forward to it. Time to dust the cobwebs off my G25.

I gave it a tinyyyyyyyyyy go the other day and it seems very much the same from the previous beta but with more free content 
I'm not a massive fan of f2p games as its hard to gauge what you get for the money. On the other hand I bet if you spent £20-30 of a f2p game you would get a similar amount of content compared to a retail version.
