Went to see Jimmy Carr on Sunday. Good night, but one thing became apparent. He ripped it out of the Welsh, Scottish, Liverpudlians, Jews, Catholics, Christians, etc..... but never once said anything about Muslims, Blacks, Indians etc.

He basically hinted that he wasn't allowed.

Surely thats racist! lol

only black people are alowed to rip into blacks so you need to see someone like steven k amos for black people stereo types...

theres a few muslim comedians knocking around but i guess they dont want people from the religion of peace and tolerance beheading them or stoning them to death

You bring up an important point about what is and isn't acceptable within comedy.

I've seen interviews with Jimmy Carr and Ricky Gervais recently where they both discussed their ideas on what is and isn't acceptable. Ricky Gervais made the point that if you have to look around to see who's in the audience before you tell a joke then you shouldn't tell that joke.
 
It was quite funny actually... jimmy carr was asking for people from the audience who had a claim to fame to come on to stage to be interviewed.

So this chav in his early 20's comes up, with a English and proud tattoo on his arm. He was on GMTV when he was 12 for doing coke and weed. So Jimmy rips it out of him for 5 minutes.

About 30 minutes later, there's a heckle from the crowd "Give us our country back". Jimmy says "Security **** him off". So they chuck him out.

At the end of the night he';s saying thank you to the other people from the audience who he had used in the act, comes to the guy from GMTV, and he realises it the was the guy he kicked out.

Guess you had to be there lol.
