Hi guys,

Just after some recommendations for a new racing game. Has there been any new games released that's worth checking out?
I'm not too fussed, it can be a car or a motorbike game, if you've got recommendations for both, then that would be great :)

If you could point in the direction of any demo's that would be good too.

I'm looking at for the same thing, Flatout2 and Outrun C2C.

Some of the online ones look good, but are the subscription only?
 
RFactor is the current ultimate online racer.
Buy this game and you get a new race game virtually every week. It's open source so mods are released at a blinding rate and there is hardly a week that goes by without a new set of cars to use/race.
Tracks are the same the modders spit them out like sour grapes.
My current favourite mod and most others is the Megane mod, its fantastic.
Excellent handling and very competitive which makes for excellent races.
Others include;
Aussie V8's, BMW M3's, Superkarts, Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and British, VW Golfs, VW Buggy fun racers, Proton Demon racer, GT2's, etc etc etc etc
Grand valley speedway from GT has just been released which is another superb track and very familiar to most who have race gamed before.
As MrMen say's ignore the demo it is very old and does not represent how the game currently plays/feels.
Ai can be tweaked to set up fabulous races if you cannot find anyone online or just want solo praccy.
Brilliant game and in my opinion definetly the leader when it comes to PC racing.

Second would be LFS.
A great game and at times i have preffered it to RF but recently the mods and RFactor community has taken a step forward.
Still LFS suits some more than others and it is a great game that's lots of fun.
