better she sit at home, I don't want to see starving, sick, poor people on TV the wife keeps wanting to donate to charity's

what we don't want is a over privileged British person deciding because he has the same skin colour as other people he can speak for them in matter that have nothing to do with the colour of skin / race

I can only assume he has spoken to a lot of the people Dooley is working with and the general consensus is we don't want your charity and bugger off white people?
 
He might have a point but everyone is quick nowadays to point the pull the racism trigger. The question should be, would it be racist shad it been the other way? My guess is yes, it would be so she has a point also.

IMO, anything like this is only an issue if you make it one.. people and the media love to stir up this kind of thing for a reaction so you can actually question who's being racist.

What will the world be like when there is no racism, i.e Africa is developed....
 
Lammy's issue is that she is white. So yes he is being racist.

Hiding it behind a "white saviour" trope is pathetic. He has an issue with white people posing for photos in Africa and needs to get over himself.
 
Its good that he can speak for all the desperate people in Africa who benefit from Comic Reliefs aid, from his starving hellhole of an office in the UK.

I don't know if that will ever happen. The standard of living will probably go down for the average 1st world country in the next 20 years unless some drastic changes are made. Climate change is also going to create massive problems.
 
Maybe best leave Africa to there, not at all racist, new han Chinese, not at all neo colonial, overlords.

I expect western goverments and charities will be reviewing their outdated 'colonial' attitudes to Africa aswell and making sure only money directly from appropriate people of colour goes towards African relief/ charity projects.

She well entitled to point out the hypocrisy. Going as far as ‘you’re being racist’ is just tit for tat. It would be best if everyone could put such things to bed and focus on the material issues, such as the poverty at hand.
