Radeon 5 Series Dual Monitor Flickering Problem

I use MSI Afterburner and have my 2D profile set up at the cards default which is 725/1000 @ 1.087v core. This then seems to fool the card to idling at 400/1000 @ 1v. My overclock is set as my 3D profile and is 925/1125 @ 1.187v and this kicks in in all games except Crysis. For this I have my 3D profile allocated to a hotkey.
With this set up I have had no flickering issues on either of my monitors. Also easier than using RBE to modify the bios.

If I remember rightly they idle (single monitor) at about 40c no?

So around the 50 - 52c mark sound about right?
