Radiant Silvergun coming to XBLA !!

News was released in September but i only just read about it now.

My favourite shooter of all time. Still have the original game on Sega Saturn, disc has quite a few scratches but still plays perfectly on my Saturn emulator tho.

All this time i had a game on my shelf worth anywhere between £125-£200 !!

Brand new copy on ebay for £345 !!

Cant wait for this souped-up verson on XBLA.

Roll on 2011 !!

when this does reach XBLA would nt that lower the price of your game as there will be a lot less ppl interested in buying it now that its freely availible cheaper?

Bought it when it 1st came out in 1998 on import, had my Saturn fitted with a switch and i was away. If you wanted a game a good 6 months earlier than the europe release, you had to buy on import.[ in Rad Silv's case, was only released in Japan

Have played it on and off ever since they created an emulator for the PC.
My original cd drive on my Saturn died years ago so i was unable to play it for years.
Still have my broken Saturn boxed away, doubt i will ever sell my copy of Radiant Silvergun, might even go and get the cd sorted out with a new layer to get rid of the scratches.

I made a thread (Went unnoticed) for this when it was announced back at the Tokyo Games Show.

I'll say it again though, this game has epic music and one of Hitoshi Sakimoto's best works. "Evasion" is my phone's ringtone.

Ffs didn't do a search, doubted many people on here even remembered the game, nevermind loved it.

Only read about Rad Silv xbla news yesterday, made my day in work today so much more enjoyable.

Rad Silv and ofc, Deathtank were alternating in my Saturn cd drive for years, until it died on me

I still struggle to find a fault with Rad Silv to this day. Epicness indeed

Nope.

I do hope one day Treasure will decide to do that, and release Ikaruga for it as well.

I want Sega and Q Entertainment to do Rez HD for PSN also.

No i'm afraid, at least not yet, releasing games is all about money and the software company responsible would have to make it available to ps3 users to maximize profits.

That is the way i see it anyway.

Makes no difference to me, have ps3 and 360 anyway.

For the die hard Radiant Silvergun fan out there, looks like peripheral manufacturer Hori may/will be producing a special edition arcade joystick for the game.

Hori's latest Xbox X360 joypad is the "Real Arcade Pro EX RS-1." Based off the Real Arcade Pro.EX SE joystick, this stick has artwork for Radiant Silvergun on its top and a button layout that matches the standard arcade layout from 1998, when RS first hit arcades. Of course, it also has a head set port so you'll be able to hook up for Xbox Live voice chat.

Pre-orders for the ¥13,500 joystick are now being taken at Hori.jp. As with other Hori speciality items, the device will only go into production if a certain number of pre-orders is reached.

The joystick will be released opposite Radiant Silvergun's Xbox Live Arcade release in 2011.

Doubt that will ever happen. The 360 is the console for shmups this generation.

On topic. I'd love that stick, hell I'd love even a run of the mill HRAP EX SE although I could easily change the buttons and stick on one of my current sticks from Sanwa to Seimitsu.
