.I have built my watercooling loop and the only way of fixing the Rad to the case was screwing it to the rear exhaust fan mount. Now, I have removed the rear fan, however the temps within the case are getting a bit toasty as I have only 1 fan which is a akasa smoke at 7v on the side.

Would putting an exhaust fan on the back affect the way the radiator cools? I currently have my fans on the radiator in a pull effect.

The rad is xhcanger 120.2.

Thanks

Definately worth getting another fan on there... it will improve temps on all case cooled items and also the water cooled items too

Yeah well when I had my side panel off the 6300 @ 3.0ghz was idling at 30 degrees, load of 40, so it does go to show I need better cooling in the case, just didnt watn to affect the radiator.

A fan moving even slightly warmer air through the rad is going to have a better result than a passively cooled rad.

People that have mounted rads inside their case and pull case warmed air through do report higher temps than those cycling colder air external to the case through externally mounted rads, however they are still not temps to be sniffed at most of the time.
