I'd like peoples opinions on whether this is worth doing. I understand CH radiators should be 150mm from the floor however due to mangled pipework from over-tightened compression fittings being cut out I've now got a rad that's around 125mm from the floor.

Question is, if it were you, would you bother extending the feed pipes by 30mm and if so what would be the easiest/cleanest looking way of doing it? I can't really get to the underfloor pipework as that would involve pulling up most of the rooms laminate flooring so any extension would be on show and other than making it easier to dust the top of the skirting board that's now 5-10mm above the bottom of the rad I'm not sure if the extra work is worth it.

Thoughts?
