Hi Guys,

I have searched the internet and forum to try and find what radiator size i should be looking at if i went to a watercooling setup, however i did not find much luck.

it would cool 2x 6950 flashed to 6970
and one slightly overclocked i7 2600k @4.2 ghz

i am not hugely fussed about noise. however i really dont fancy changing my case Antec DF85 as i only just purchased it.

this has 2x140 fans in the top which im told would not be enough, i could also find a home for a 1x120 which i currently have a h70. would this be enough or do i need more?

any help apricated

Ross

an option is to keep the 2600k on the h70 as i get good temps, and just run a 2x140 rad to cool the graphics?

You could possibly get away with a 280 rad with some high speed fans along with a GTX120 with a 38mm fan on it too.

i might be able to fit a 240 in the back rather than a 120. but then i would be stuffed for airflow as im asuming these need a push fan that blows into the case?

I would recommend at least 360 if you're cooling 2 graphics cards and a cpu, althought it probably won't fit in your case. You may have to go external, but if you want good temps, then I strongly recommend more than a double rad.

Ive got a 2600k and two gtx 480s and i have a 360 and a 120 rad.

Your cards are not as hot and cpu is not clocked as much so you could use a 360 but for ok temps i would not use a smaller one.

I used a dual rad with a couple of 120 fans to cool my 2600k and 6990 gfx card the 6990 idle temp is 35 and hits 55 load and the cpu is 23c idle and hits 55 to 60c load @ 4.5 gig.

A few days ago i swapped out the the rad for a EK quad with 4 fans and the temps are the same as before.
