Would changing from a single 120 rad to a 240 make much difference in temps?

Alphacool NexXxoS Xtreme II Rev 2
Black ICE-Xtreme II 240mm Radiator
Magicool Copper Radiator II UV-Blue 240mm
Swiftech 240

I'm using a 450l/ph pump
Fuzion waterblock
1/2 hose
Swiftech mini res.

What do you guys think? which would suit me? and what kind of drop should I expect.

Theoretically yes though it depends on too many variables to quantify, if nothing else you will be able to run it with slower/quieter fans.

Any reason for Thermochill not being on the list?

Hi Dave, thanks for the reply. The main reason I'm not going for the Thermochill is the price really, by the time I buy the swiftech mounting bracket for the rear of the case, barbs and extra hose it will take the price way over the thermochill.

Everything I buy must be done in secret, "The Dragon" hates computers, and she's the bread winner.

I'm after getting temps down by 2-4 oC, the computer is in a conseratory and I know in a few weeks time temps will drop a lot, but I would like it cooler in summer also.

Today has been hot in there, with no windchill factor and temps climbed to 65.64.61.61 under prime load (cpu test) and I'm after getting it to 60 on the highest core.

TBH - it's probably worth the extra to get the Thermochill... snob factor aside, they are the best. On the other hand, you have to decide whether those additional few degrees are worth the extra expense...

Will it make much difference to your temperatures? You may get a small drop in idle temp but the biggest difference will crop up in load temperatures (assuming all other factors are constant - which won't happen, but hey).
