Radio 1 Big Weekend.

Hi everyone,
Has anyone else on here won any tickets for the big weekend?
I only applied because i was bored at work and saw a link on the radio 1 page i was looking at at the time..ended up winning. lol.

Anyone know what the traffic/parking will be like for it?
+ how on earth do i decide who to take with me.

Tempted to sell them to someone at work who i know wanted to go.

Thoughts & advice?

Thoughts are I doubt you will be able to sell them. Aren't they pretty strict on this?

Not sure. The email does say the tickets have my name on them, but doesnt mention anything about bringing ID...?

I applyed for the sunday one for reasons beyond me, and the only acts i want to see are Paolo Nutini & Marina on Sunday. lol.

No you cant sell them, im going and im in Bangor, its very clear on the website that you cannot sell them and all people will require I.D., looking forward! its 10 mins down the road from me......

Our daughter is working the Big Weekend selling programs, so not only does she get to see everything, but she gets paid too.

I'm sooooooo jealous.

Stopped listening to radio one when their mega-reshuffle didn't involve removing teh fat slobber from breakfast. At the same time Wogan left radio 2 and Evans took over, and I find that show a much more interesting listen now. I can't stand the talentless slobber gobbing on about anything now, he is well past his best. As are his sicophants, the comedy one now simply referred to as Dave, as even they can't bring themselves to claim he does comedy in any fashion.

no not at all - i do some freelance radio work as a DJ over here on the Isle of Man. I just really want to take my girlfriend to it - (want to propose, long story).

are you interested in selling them :-)
