Radio 2

Scott Mills (while arrogant) can be a good listen for the drive home.

The time they rung the angry pizza man, and the tabloids with the fake headlines was class.

Can't stand Whiley or Cox, don't mind Bowman though

What is Radio 2, never really listened to it?

I am turning into more of a Radio 1 man, Moyles is pretty good, I really like Bowman and Mills is pretty funny. Gone off capital a bit, but atleast they don't play all these crappy British artists like radio 1.

Has anyone seen the salaries they are on?

Moyles 600K
Comedy Dave 500K
Cox 200K
Mills 150K
Bowman 150K

Lol another radio thread that's descended into a Radio1/Moyles/Cox bashing thread...

Not exactly a surprise given how much those DJs (and Scott Mills) seem to polarise people. For the little it matters Moyles and Mills I find unfunny and crass (not always a bad thing to be crass though), Sara Cox is ok when she isn't prattling on about her dog and/or child.

I still usually listen to Radio 1 in the car but given my other choices are Forth FM, Radio Tay, Wave 102 and Radio 2 there isn't really a better option and most have adverts, it is simply the lesser of the evils.

Comedy Dave 500K

He's one of the most unfunny people ever. God knows why he's called comedy Dave and god knows why he gets paid 500K. All he seems to do is sit around getting insulted by Moyles and refusing to admit he's wrong.

Wogan is a bit boring (unless he's doing Eurovision) so don't listen to R2 much in the morning, but I enjoy listening to Chris Evans.

Anything is better than having to listen to Moyles though... I'd rather listen to the sound of my engine than listen to Moyles. In fact, I've been known to purposefully start an argument with the missus on the way to work, as I'd rather listen to her going on about me being an insensitive pig than listen to Chris Moyles.

Radio 2 SUCKS.

Radio 1 has its moments.

Of all the BBC stations, Radio 4 is where its at.

Of all of the FM stations, I probably listen to Classic FM the most :)

Mark Radcliff, can't stand him, his voice just irritates me, as for people liking the Chris Moyles show, god, this guy loves himself so much, even his co-presenters get a little narked of at him at times. The guy just talks about Himself far too often.
Steve Wright I find hilarious, as I do Scott Mills.

My 2 pennies :)

5live is good, don't like Nicky Campbell in the morning but Drive in the evening (ie, now) is actually really entertaining. (Peter Allen rules!) Also Simon Mayo + Mark Kermode = win.

Somtimes Mark Radcliffe is pretty good. I've heard most of today's show, and its been quite entertaining. The one thing that annoys me about him is the amount he mumbles and stammers.

Steve Wright is better. Just ask Elvis.

Radio 2 is awesome.

And I agree with Fox, Mark Radcliffe and Lisa Tarbuck are excellent, much better than Steve Wright.

I don't listen to Wogan much anymore, my new job means I'm never up before 9 (woo!), but he's awesome. Janet and John are great! Ken Bruce is cool, he plays some good music and has some good banter. Jeremy Vine is good to listen to, puts over a nice balanced debate (usually) and has some really interesting stuff every once in a while. Steve Wright is my least favourite, and Chris Evans is great - love it!
