is there a way of uninstalling realplayer and putting it back on a fresh?

maybe something like App Zapper or have you tried resetting Safari/Firefox

On the other hand, why you would want to listen to Radio 1 though is beyond me ;)

You should get the BBC Radio Widget its cool

Also when you say you downloaded it did you install it by dragging it into applications or just run it?

Use spotlight to search for all instances of Realplayer and delete them. Then try installing again.

Hamish, cheers for the widget, that makes things a little easier. :)

Sweet widget

Moyles in the morning
Mills in the evening

...the rest of Radio 1 is pure annoyance

Moyles 'Best Of' podcast from iTunes ... and the rest is pure annoyance ;)

Can everyone get good streaming with the widget by the way? I wouldn't mind listening to Jonathan Ross at the weekend but the streaming is hopeless, it plays with really nice sound quality but it pauses aprox. every 30secs to buffer, really annoying!

lemonkettaz: try AppZapper (the uninstaller Apple forgot), you can use it up to 4 times before you have to buy it and that should sort your RealPlayer issue.

Dude, that rocks!

I really should prune back my widget collection.

I hate to go off topic but...

Radio 2 = old fart radio.

Only thing I like about that station is The Jeremy Vine Show, Steve Wright and popmaster ;)

Usually I'd be a bit hesitant to install real player on my pc. Should I be so about installing it on the mac? I only really want it for the bbc radio plugin!

as asked above, is it possible to get this to work without real player as I HATED the peice of software for PC, is it still as bad for mac?
