Ok, for a bit of background, see this thread.

Basically I've got one of the Radon OC bundles from OcUK.

When I try booting (into Windows 7) with the OcUK overclocked profile it either gets as far as the black screen with the Windows logo on it and hangs or it BSODs at about the same point.

If I take the OC off it boots fine. So I'm thinking the hardware is basically ok right?
So it would seem it's the OC settings, but OcUK must've tested them right? How would they make sure an OC is stable without booting into Windows? (I'm assuming they didn't just load a precreated profile onto the board and ship it without testing)

The chip is an AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 95W Edition on a Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H motherboard. If I up the VCore/VID to 1.425V I can get it to boot into windows. the OcUK profile has it set at 1.375V with the stock value being 1.325V. Looking at other people's overclocks on this chip it seems like a very high boltage to get a 3.8GHz overclock. Some people seem to be getting 4GHz+ with those sorts of voltages. Plus I don't know if that'd be stable under Prime95, it just gets it to boot.

I'm guessing OcUK staff don't visit these forums on the weekend (would you want to do your day job on the weekend for free? Unless you're a pr0n star) so has anyone here had a similar issue with an OcUK OC bundle, specifically a Radon?
Is my chip just a bad clocker? (Still don't think it should've been sent out if it wont boot)
Is it possible it may have booted for them but not me for some reason?

Really not sure what the best course of action is. If you read the 'background' thread I linked to, you can probably see why I'm getting fed up with this whole PC.
