Hi all,

The MG has a slight coolant leak looking like its coming from the water pump. Cambelt is due in 10k so reluctant to fix it now, what are your experiences with it?

Would it work in this scenario? It is only a few drips a day.

Don't want to do more damage than good!

Maybe... it really is very slight and it gets checked everyday.

I only have to put in ~50ml every week

This may be true, but it wasn't an expense I wanted just before Christmas. But yes your right, its all part of owning a car (especially a British one).
