Awesome museum, really really good. When I go to the airshow, I make sure I stop by

Not a bad place, bit in the middle of no where, but easy to find and get there!

Went there on Sunday, was good. The reason I went was for the car meet held in the museums car park.

Cosford is a great place to spend a few hours, Duxford even more so. The TSR2 is majestic and the EE Lightning is my all time favourite. I was lucky enough to sit in one of the Bruntingthorpe Lightnings after it had just done a fast taxi and was still 'hot' and I offered my car for some side by side runs with it at one of their open days as they did with a Hunter, but due to insruance 'challenges' we could not make it happen, which was a REAL shame. Imagine racing side by side with a Lighting!!!!

I hope to get to Thunder City in the next couple of years and go up in Mike Beachy-Heads 'toys' subject to finding the time and loosing a few pies!

Its the comparatively tiny wings that make the TSR2 so different to me, it has a huge fuselage and these small wings, its so strange.
