I was just thinking about it, and how to get it past the wife. Problem is I'll be going to Kemble airshow the weekend after, so whilst I met get a pass I'm not sure I can carry the burden of guilt that goes with it!

Anyone going to RIAT this year?

Yep we're at RIAT both days. I'm lucky enough to have a gf who's more into planes than me! She can't do Cosford though so she's gutted the Reds have just announced they will be there after all

I'll be at RIAT this year working with the Reds, I should have been to Cosford doing PR but I'm at Brize instead that weekend doing Dye Team work.

I'm also at Kemble and Biggin Hill airshows this month.

I'm doing Cosford, Waddington, RIAT and Farnborough for sure. The others I'll pick and choose depending on weather, what is flying and if I can fit it in.

Hoping the weather picks up, Cosford is looking a bit iffy at the moment.

Also at Coningsby on the Friday and the forecast for that day is looking worse! :mad:

What do you reckon is the best day for RIAT, the Sat or Sun, or are the practice days before worth a look?

Nothing really between the Sat and Sun. The practice days are a nice bonus but I wouldn't do just those days.

Departure days can be a good chance to catch some of the stuff that was static.
