Rage - worth finishing?

From a quick look seems saves aren't compatible between the 2 different startup options and the 64bit option is unstable.
 
I think I recall my GTX480 running this better. Certainly smoother and less texture pop in (the latter being the smaller issue).
 
It always used to seem to run better on my 470s than any other cards I had access to at the time - had it tweaked so that there was hardly any delay on texture streaming on fast view changes.
 
Yeah, the frame rate is like a slack rubber band atm. The texture pop in I can live with; I'm only playing it on easy so I can whisk through to the DLC asap.

Edit : restarting the game seemed to sort out a lot of that, which was a relief. It was that bad that I started to wonder if it was worth carrying on.
