Want to vent some internet anger by whining to you all.
A certain online computer hardware reviewing and overclocking enthusiast forum have really ****ed me off lately.
It all started when they did a review on a certain pointless and overpriced special model of a graphics card and gave it the best award they can give, because the company that makes the card sponsor him/the company... so of course they would give it a great review, they'll bend over and do whatever they want for them...
So i post my strong opinion, along with some other people, on this obviously bent review and get banned, not even a warning or a slap on the wrist. He (or she) the owner of this company states that if we don't like the way they review things then we should **** off elsewhere.
This annoyed the hell out of me because not only do i like a lot of the forum community there, but i'd paid subscription to their 'off topic' section and had been a member for quite some time.
So once i cooled down i re-joined under a new account and carried on my business on the forum, posting about, everything was cool.
That is until i found the information (posted here thanks guys btw) about the new EVGA GTX580 Classified. Monster of a card, in terms of overclocking and cooling abilities, at a cost however. I posted a link to their site and a quote on it, i then finished the posted with my opinion, which was NEGATIVE. Basically, it's nothing new, it's quite expensive and they're a little late. However, it is a great card for extreme cooling and overclocking enthusiasts, and that's the only way i could it selling...

The thread went on for just over a page discussing the card and comparing it to the Asus GTX 580 Matrix etc, all fine both negative and positive opinions. Then all of a sudden the thread gets deleted, not locked but DELETED and i get a message from the main guy (or girl) of the site telling me not to advertise EVGA....

Really? This guy (ok it's a guy) is an absolute sponsor manhood loving douchebag. I find it hard to get annoyed with people on the internet but I hate this guy.
