For the sake of curiosity, would it be possible to set up a RAID 0+1 (or is it 1+0>) array with two F1 320gb drives, and a 640gb F1 drive. Where the 320s are effectively a RAID 0 setup, and the 640 as a backup (RAID 1)? Or would you have to set up a RIAD 0 with the 320s and use software/manually back up onto the 640?

I read somewhere aabout hte intel raid controller being able to do some strange things, but remember even if you did do this, the whole advantage of raid 0, ie speed would be lost as you were mirroring to a single slower drive. Much better to clone the drive every day with incremental backups, acronis do some good products for this
