Ive got a DFI NF4 SLI-DR mobo, and have two sata controllers on it, one the NF4 one and another one made by sillicon image. The NF4 one is twice as fast as the sillicon one so I really want to use that one, BUT I want to run Raid 0 (2x36gb raptors) as well as a seagate 7200.10 320gb one as a single drive on the same channel, is this possible? Ive got the Raid 0 setup ok, but when I come to install the seagate its recognised in the bios, but windows says "there was a problem installing this hardware: nvidia NF4 serial ATA controller. An error occured during the installation of this device"
