RAID 0 causing corruption?

I've just installed a new RAID 0 array of 2x Maxtor 160gb SATA drives, and Im getting a wierd problem. Ive installed XP Pro fine, and all the motherboard drivers off the CD are on and running. I went to download new drivers from the Nvidia site for my gfx card, and when I went to install them I got a message saying the file was corrupt. I downloaded the file again and same thing happened, so I got the beta drivers and the same happened, so I went to the Aopen site as thats the manufacturer of my card and guess what, that file had the same problem. I found a DVD that came with a PC magazine with the drivers on it, and that installed without any problems. Also I downloaded openoffice with Java and it installed ok but then later when it tried to update java, again I got a corrupt file error. Could this be the RAID arrays fault? Thats the only thing Ive changed on my system so Im inclined to blame it. The setup is:
AMD Opteron 146 @ stock
2gb Geil Value RAM
Abit AN8 SLI motherboard
Aopen 7800GTX 256mb GFX
Hiper 580W PSU
Pioneer DVR-106 (I think) DVDRW

All input is welcome because Im completely stuck.

Thanks, George.

No and no. I didnt bother because its been 100% stable until I installed the array. I will give that a shot though it cant hurt.

Well, I stuck my old hard disk back in as it still has my origional windows install, and it seems ok. I downloaded the new nvidia drivers again and they ran fine. Interesting you should mention voltages though, I did recently bump my VCore up to 1.5 from 1.4, but its been solid until I put in the RAID array. Could it be a symptom of me installing the array and windows with the higher Vcore and overclock? I ran the CPU at 2.8ghz from 2.0ghz because I thought it was stable enough with the overclock.
