RAID 0 config states "error detected"

hia, ive got 2 500 gb HDD's in a raid 0 config and recently i noticed that one of the HDD's at boot up states "error detected".

the raid volume itself is stated as normal and i havent noticed any problems so far.

im just curious as to what is the problem, and if any 1 had any input.

I had that recently, then a few days later it escalated to "SMART event" then the drive died... I was unable to find out exactly what the problem was.
Now using a very slow single drive that was part the raid and waiting for my ssd to arrive tomorrow.

+1 Although I took advice and had all docs and other data of importance on another drive
