raid 0 hard drive capacity matter?

I had 2 150 raptor x drive, had to rma one and it looks as though theyre sending me a 300 gig velociraptor as replacement. Just wondering will raid 0 still work across 2 drives with different capacities? :confused:

it will work but it might not be as efficent but you may want to sell the other 150 and get another 300 for the extra efficenty

I'm pretty sure you can still raid 0 them but you will only get (approx) 2 x the size of the smallest drive in total....

That would be fine if performance isn't an issue.

Yeh, performance will be fine, but your array will only be 300GB total in size.

Was that beforehand so happy enough with it. Woulda got another 300 gig but never realised they cost over £200. :eek:
