It had been a while since i last set up a raid for my o/s ( it was with xp )
I have now ventured into windows 7 which is currently installed on a single 74 gig raptor.
Due to the small size of the drive and the age of it i deceided to purchase 2 new drives , with the idea of creating a raid 0 to put my windows 7 instalation onto.
i ordered and have in my possesion 2 x https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-206-SE

I have installed them into the pc and they are showing up ok in device manager as "unallocated"
how do i create the raid ,,and will i have to do a new instalation ,, or can i use the likes of acronis to make an image of my existing "C" drive ,, and then use it to transfer the image to the new raid drives.
Or do i need to do a new install to make the raid

Thanks in advance :)

Ok i am deff gonna keep windows 7 and my main instalation of WOW on my 74gig raptor,, that leaves me 25G , so guess ill have to be sure and install all apps etc on one of the 500gb drives :D :D with the slower access times :):)
