Raid 0 pci sata 6gb raid controller cards

Anyone know of a good pci raid card that would take for eg

4 x sata 6gb ssds running on raid zero

Is this worth getting.?

Yeah, I`ve seen that one. They also have 3xIntel 520 240GB SSD in Raid0 on the same card. I don`t know why I have the feeling they are a bit too optimistic. I hope I`m wrong here.
I`m on SATA2 and I don`t wanna upgrade now. I was looking for a decent raid card without paying 400 pounds or more for LSI's MegaRAID 9265-8i.

I think the card is not fantastic, but for a $150 card you can not ask for more. Or to be fair, for that money, it`s a good card.

I would really like to see this card with 4x 120 GB SSDs.

I`ve also found a review about IBM ServeRAID M1015.
It`s not a very expensive card.

I just received my M1015.

I`m going to flash it to LSI SAS 9211-8i and try the 2xM4 128 GB I have.
Just for testing.

And than, I`m going to wait for a while, to see how this war prices is going to finish and decide which SSDs to buy. Maybe M5?

This setup is planned to be a 6xSSD setup.

I was going to buy some SanDisk extreme 128gb but going to hold and see what these m5

Yep. In this case eBay is your friend.

Basically it`s a LSI 9240-8i, but for Raid0 it behaves a bit better as a LSI 9211-8i.

Didn`t you read the link I posted before for the M1015?
HighPoint 2720SGL it`s not a bad card at all (I was very close to buy it) but this card it offers the best bang for the buck.

Here`s 4x256GB Samsung 830 in Raid0 with M1105 flashed to LSI 9211-8i

4K read and write don`t scale very well but my interest is in sequential reads/write

4k are really slow compared to my c300 raid0

Guess once you got over 10mb/s on the 4k you pretty much wouldn't notice the difference anyway. I'm so getting on of these raid cards for 4 samsungs myself. How much was it and also it has 2 sata slots so how do you fit 4 drives on all these controllers?
