I purchased to 500Gig WD RE2 drives link below

My question is
I can't say that i can see any difference in the performance Windows 7 performance is showing no change. So Is there any piont in RAID 0 for gaming. ?
a couple of times when cold starting PC it doesnt detect the RAID, nd when i first installed the OS it wouldnt take the RAID driver for 64 BIT had to use the 32 bit instead.
The only reason i went for RAID 0 was the price of the drives and a brief understanding that RAID was faster... How do you bench drives... advise PLS
