x2 hdd: 2tb samsung f4
Configured storage from bios to RAID. Entered crtl+i to raid setup and set up raid 0 between the two drives with 128kb strip size, total of 3.7tb drives showed up as normal status and under the bootable tab showed : no.
As I try to instal win7 x64 before installation it is showing one hard disk as 3.7 TB unallocated space but it isn't allowing me to proceed with installation saying that the hdd is not bootable and I need to set it as bootable from the bios. When I enter the bios for the boot priority settings only the dvd drive and usb removable storage are found. Searched on the net and some people said that raid drivers are need to be installed at the menu when choosing where to instal the os (load drivers option). I'm trying to instal the os from a usb and have the mb drivers which came with the mb on a dvd. When I chose the RAID drivers [Intel ICH8R/ICH9R/ICH10R/DO/PCH RAID controller][D:\drivers\raid\imsm\driver\disk\64bit\iastor.inf (x64)] using the load drivers option this message pops up: To continue with windows installation use the load driver option to instal 32bit and unsigned 64bit drivers, installing an unsigned 64bit device driver is not supported and might result in an unusable windows installation. Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong. This is my 1st raid setup maybe i'm messing up.
