Raid 0 question

hey, im looking for a faster setup. currently i have 1 Raptor X 150GB hdd for all my programs, games and windows. my question is, would if be better if i got 2 36gb raptors for booting windows alone or another 150gb raptor x for all the stuff or another raptor x 150gb raided for the games and programs and a seperate 36gb raptor for windows??

im new to this raid thing and have briefly scanned this forum for answers but i think its best to get a direct answer.

i apoligise if u have all seen this uestion a thousand times

To be honest RAID0 is a waste of time. You double the chance of a HDD failure and double the chance you lose ALL your data for the sake of a faster read time. If you're also using Raptors it becomes quite expensive too.

If you have the money and have a good backups then RAID0 might be something to play with, but otherwise it is not something I would personally bother with.
