RAID 0 Question

I currently have a spinpoint F1 320GB with 16MB cache, are there any issues with putting this in RAID 0 with a 320GB F1 with 8mb cahce?

any performance loss?
I know if you pair up 2 unuequal sized drives you sacrifice the extra space on the larger one. (eg 250 + 500 equals 500 GB total)
Is it the same for cache?

Yes, but not as much as different spindle speeds. Were talking a few percent here.

Where it *might* make a significant difference is if your writing excessive large files to disk, such as straight AV Recording to disk from a HD Camera??

apparently 2 identical drives have a better performance than 2 different ones.
