Hi,

Okay this is my current setup.

OCZ Vertex 2 60GB SSD - Main Drive (Windows & Small Apps.)
Seagate Barracuda 250GB 7200Rpm (Games and larger Apps)

I just purchased an exact matching Seagate Barracuda 250GB so i can do Raid 0 to improve my game loading times using the 250GB drive which my games are installed on.

However i have looked in my mobo manual and it only explains how to Raid 0 two drives when they are the primary drives...nothing about if your running a SSD as the main drive and then Raid 0 two standard drives together.

My mobo is a Gigabyte GA-P55-US3L.

Do remove the SSD,Create a Raid 0 array with just the standard drive installed...then when the raid array is made then install my SSD after?

appreciate any help.

Raid 0

Normally when creating the array you can select which drives you want to RAID 0 together - as you only have 1 matching pair they should be obvious. There would be no harm in taking the SSD out though - setting up RAID 0 on the 2 drives power off reattch the SSD and then goto the BIOS change 1st boot option to SSD.
