Currently I have a Win 7 software RAID across two 2TB drives, with Win7 on a seperate SSD. Am I understanding correctly that if one of those 2TB drives fails, I'll be able to pull it out and put in another, then the data will syncronise? (I know I can't re-install the OS on the SSD without causing myself a headache.)
If I used the hardware RAID controller on the the MB, and setup RAID 0 instead, what happens in that instance when the drive fails? What would happen if I wanted to re-install the OS, surethat's independent of the drives?
If you have a hardware RAID 0, and then a dual boot OS on a seperate SSD, would both OSs see the RAID drive?
