hey guys, just a quick question, i think my average read time is a lot slower than it should be, i have 2 seagate 7200.10 250gb sata2 st325062as in raid 0 64kb stripe

here are my settings, i unticked 2 options and speed has increased a small amount. (with the options on it was like 80mb/s)

I don't think that your average read speed is wrong now, it has been a while since I've had a Raid0 array to test but you won't get double the single read speed because you have two drives. Generally I'd expect more in the rough region of 80% of what a single drive can do because of overheads in accessing/general inefficiencies in using two drives to act as one and that is pretty much what you have (my single 7200.10 gets around 60MB/s with a few things going at once so it should be closer to 65MB/s). Your CPU utilisation is pretty good. :)
