What are other people getting for there burst and average read speeds?

HD Tach : 159mb/s 110mb/s average

2x250gb Hitachi sataII

Enable 300MB/s mode on both drives (ONLY if on a SATA 300MB/s controller) and the burst will double to nearer 300Mb/s. Average should go up ever so slightly too.

The average reads sounds about right though.

My 80GB Hitachi's in RAID0 hit about 97MB/s average and 400MB/s burst.

dont you have to change the drives to sata2 with a program from hitachi's website and a disk? - i dont have a floppy drive :s i dont want one either
