RAID 1 Just rebuilt itself

Strange goings on in my PC.

It's been running 24/7 for a while and I switched it off today and left it unplugged for a while, on rebooting the Intel RAID screen was only detecting one drive.

I managed to get into XP at the 3rd or 4th attempt and Intel Matrix Storage Manager has just spent an hour rebuilding the Array and declares everything is OK.

Should I worry?

HD's are WD2500YS 16mb Cache, 250Gb.

I wouldn't worry unless it does it again, there's not a lot you can do anyway, the diags won't run when the drives are in a RAID array.

It's entirely possible that one of the drives hiccuped at boot and because it didn't respond the RAID controller marked it as offline, then the next time the machine booted the controller sees an online drive in the place where an offline one used to be so started to rebuild to it.
