Raid 1 tutorial for Gigabyte UP4TH mobo please!

Hi my cousin wants me to build his pc i have built a handfull including one with the above mentioned mobo.
He wants Raid 1 on 2x 256gb ssds now i know what raid 1 is but not sure what i have to do to set them up as Raid drives and installs windows 7, will it be different installing than on 1 ssd?
I know theres a Raid option in the bios but is there another screen to set them up as raid?

Update there is a section at the back of the motherboard manual which i missed so that should be enough sorry
