RAID 10 disk fail questions

Intel Disk Manage is telling me a disk has failed.

Ok so I need to replace the disk and I've never done this before so can someone please clarify some n00b questions.

Do I just get another drive, swap it over and Intel Disk Manage will format and copy data from the good disk automatically?

The drive is a WD 500 GB RE2, however a quick search on the net only shows new drives RE3 & RE4. It won't make any difference right?

Yeah the RE disks should all be interchangeable. This is what I am told constantly by suppliers and we've not had problems!

OK so I just swap the drive and thats it.

Yup! The RAID will rebuild itself then. Though check if the hdd is in warranty, the RE drives have 5 years!
