I Currently Have 2 Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache Drives In Raid 1 (Mirror) configuration on an Asus P5Q motherboard and was thinking of adding 2 more drives and changing to RAID 10.
As this will use RAID 0+1 would i notice an increase in disk performance? Also adding the extra disks would the raid controller simply update the array with the data already installed on the mirror or would i have to re-install?
