RAID 5, DO THE HDD'S NEED TO BE SAME MAKE

Hi, I have 2 Western digital 200gb drives but 4 Seagate 200gb drives, Could i use all 6 in a RAID 5 configuration with no problems or do they need to be the same make and model?

AFAIK it doesn't matter at all, but you will be limited by the slowest drive, I even think you can even use drives of different sizes.

They can be any make and any size, however the usable space you will get out of it will equal the smallest drive * (total number of drives - 1).
