raid 5 to raid 0

The write speeds for RAID5 will be significantly less than those for RAID0 unless you spend a daft amount of money on a high end controller card due to the parity calculations required for redundancy.

guess it will be raid 0 then thanks its good job i checked here before i bought 3 drives i can live with reliability as all my important data is always backed up

I'd assume that'd affect read speed too, since you've got to calcuate the answer for checking.
With a fast CPU and software RAID 5, I'd think it was negligible.
