Raid 5 write performance in proliant range

StoreOnce 4500?

N.B I work on the StoreOnce R&D team.

Yea man, love my StoreOnce devices. Do exactly what they say on the tin. I have one in a co-lo and one here in London - It's all you need really.

Also good job on the R&D :) As I say - solid device.

Glad to hear :).

Also, as you're using Veeam, they've finally added support for catalyst copy (i believe it's currently in beta) so should give you a better experience if you're trying to copy your backups to your second site. Will also open up options in the future for writing that data to the cloud (i fairly certain the 4500 supports cloudbank stores).

Ohh might have to look at the firmware update on that then - Thanks for the heads up :). I won't lie I'm still have trouble getting catalyst to work over FC but for my data in my window that really isn't a problem. If I wanted to clear 40tb in 8 hours then I would spend a lot more time fighting it. For now it just does what it does and even manages to replicate to our co-lo before we start work the next day. Just good *** in general tbh.
