My pc has failed to boot into windows on 3 separate occasions each time saying it cannot find a certain file or the file has become corrupted, only a complete reinstall would work but then a few days later it would all happen again same outcome different corrupt missing file. I done some research and it looks as if one of my hdd's are faulty, I have two set up in raid so I deleted both drives in the raid menu then added just one drive to the raid side of the menu and reinstalled windows, all worked well :) , I tried exactly the same with the other drive but the other drive fails to even install windows so I take it this is the faulty one. I was just wondering if its ok to keep the pc running this way with the one working drive still set up showing as raid in the raid menu or should raid be completely uninstalled if ony using one drive.
thanks
