New build should arrive tomorow so id like to get as much info today so i can save some time tomorrow and get the rig up and running fairly quick.
Ok, the drives i have bought are SATA drives:
1) 74GB Westorn Digital Raptor 10,000rpm
2) 320 Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm
Iv been told various things,
1) best to run windows on the raptor and all other programs on the seagate [from people around OCUK]
2) best to run windows and all other apps on the seagate BUT run flight simulator 2004 + flight simulator X on the raptor because of its high RPM... [and this one was from a flight sim forum]
I gues its down to personal choice, but other views would be appriciated
Second question:
RAID... not to sure on how to set this... whats the best option?
I dont want any kind of backups or anything, just a simple two drive setup
