RAID array issues

I appear to be having some issues with Disk 1 in my raid array which is in my sig. I noticed that for some odd reason I'm using 200gb more hdd space than I should be judging from the contents of the drive itself when highlighting everything and going to properties and waiting for the counter to finish.

Due to that, I went into diskmanager and discovered that disk 1 has errors on it and when I reactive the drive, it immediately goes back into the "offline" state again. Both drives are still fully usable, yet I have 200gb which is unaccounted for and this erroneous message on disk manager. Ideas?

How is your RAID even working?

If one drive dropped out of a RAID0 array then the array would fail and you wouldn't be able to access any of the data.

2x500GB disks in RAID 0 will show as 931GB in Windows. The difference between the decimal Gigabyte HDD's are measured in and the binary Gibibytes Windows uses.

This may account for some of your "missing" space.

931gb is still showing and it still works. Set it up via disk manager so its software striping as my SSD hated the raid setting in bios so had to keep it at AHCI. I did a HDtune complete scan of disk 1 and this is what it showed:

hdd is now getting worse as my raid array was unavailable until I reactivated the disk in disk manager -.- I've got a thread open in the customer service part on here with more indepth info to see what my choices are but its safe to say its ******
