Raid Card Needed

Help me Choose a Raid Card

Hi everyone im currently in the process of getting the parts together for my new server build as ive nearly maxed out my current one.

I'm needing at least 8 port's for my new WD 3TB Drives:D. but due to the cost so far of the drives and other parts i don't have much cash left for more parts.

I was going to get a HP P400 from eBay for £50 that's with 512mb cache and backup battery lol, but after looking into the more in more detail i noticed that sadly the max drive support is 2TB which would be kinda useless with my New Drives.

the motherboard i currently have for the new server build is my old Gigabyte EX58-UD5 with i7 920

Hoping for a card within the range of £100 if at all possible i can go a little more if needed but not a huge amount.

I'm in the same boat and need a raid card.

Only started doing some research and the IBM M1015 gets mentioned a lot.

I'm sure someone will tell you a better option though.
