Anyone come across one before? Can't find one for sale anywhere.

I'll be damned if I'm putting some ugly stand-out green thing in my build.

Sorry should have been more specific - I meant a RAID card with a good on-board controller for 'hardware' RAID e.g. adaptec, rocketraid. I found a couple of cheap £10-20 cards which facilitate software RAIDing but are horribly unreliable.

Could get someone to make a custom shroud out of black perspex or black sprayed metal?

Yeh I'm going to get an adaptec one and make a black mesh cover for it. Don't know how I'm going to attach it yet though...With a GPU back cover you can use motherboard stand-offs but there's no attachment holes on a RAID card. Might have to find some black plastic clippy things and improvise a little bit :).

If the card has "space" at the edge of the PCB, simply use some plastic clips on those bits? If not, create a bit of mesh in each corner that goes to nearly touching it and use arctic ceramic or glue/blue tack etc? depends how nice you can make it look I suppose, but you could always not have mesh on the corner bits and have it solid?

I got some spare T-shaped clips from an old arctic gpu cooler that would probably fit onto the pcb. I think two on the top edge, and one on the bottom edge that extends out from the motherboard slot. I'll bend the mesh so it's stuck onto the top two clips and have part of it bent around the extending bit and soldered back onto the other side. I'll do a mock-up with card when my RAID card arrives anyhow :).
