Raid Cards......

I'm in need of a decent raid card.

I'm after uber ones.

But not looking to spend a bomb £100 max really.

After brands and models just to look out for.

Only need one that will take 2/3 drives.

I'll be throwing my 2 WD Cavalier REs on it. As the 650i onboard raid is pants and keeps corrupting.

i'd prefer a raid card as i'm gunna be swaping mobos over xmas for my new build and will be swaping my HDD and saves me having to rebuild it, and i've tried loads of stuff to get it to work and i've given up.

IIRC its raid 0 as i just want them to have the fasts read time. But raid 5 will be handy if poss so i can add another drive for some protection

Okay so whats the best then one of the cards you listed up above and a raid 0 array will be the quickest?

i'd prefer to use the pci 1x ports.

will it still give them enough bandwidth for high speeds?
