Raid: "Error On Member Disk(0)"

Hey guys.

This has happened to me once before.

Intel management (control+i thing) lists one of HDD as red error:
Member Disk Error(0)

What is causing this? Has one of them failed? Don't think it has since I have booted up now.
Last time I just reinstalled the OS (W764) and all was fine until now and would prefer not to reinstall OS.

Try resetting the status in the matrix drivers and see if it happens again.

I'd maybe run a Verification and maybe a scan disk pass to make sure everything is sound. If it makes a habit of doing it maybe i'd be worried but just occasionally i would'nt be.

As a one off I wouldn't worry too much.

If it happens again I would certainly check each drives SMART data and run the manufacturers diagnostic check by plugging each drive into another machine or temporarily taking them out of RAID and booting from a bootable DVD or USB stick with applicable software.
