RAID help please for Newbie

Hi I need some help on RAID please.

Just bought 2 x identical western digital RE 250 gb caviar sata drives. How would I set it up?. Please can somebody send me a link/easy guide or advice. I have never done it before, so please make it quite simple.

My specs are below, please let us know what is best to use with the specs I have(i no longer have the seagate, I sold it to get the two drives above)

Also let me know if I should use RAID 1 or RAID 0. I basically want to increase the performance of my computer Im not too bothered about backup.

All help as always is appreciated.

Can you take a look through some of my previous posts, there's at least one bulletted guide in there but I can't remember which board it's for. I'm a little busy to redo one, gotta run to a meeting.

Nope, not seeing a spec anywhere

RAID0 (striping) is for performance with no redundancy, RAID1 (mirroring) is for redundancy.
